Rohit Sharma completed his fifty in 27 balls against Lucknow Super Giants. This is his fastest fifty against LSG in IPL and the fourth fastest fifty of his entire career. Besides, this is also Rohit’s fastest fifty at Wankhede ground. The fastest fifty from Rohit’s bat in the Indian Premier League came in 23 balls, which he scored in the match against Kolkata Knight Riders this year.

In this match, Rohit Sharma along with Ryan Rickleton has also made the record of most number of 100+ partnerships. Rohit and Rickleton made a partnership of 143 runs for the first wicket against Lucknow. This is the third time for Mumbai Indians in IPL that these two have made a century partnership, which is the highest for Mumbai for any wicket.
