Rishabh Pant, the most expensive player sold in the history of IPL auction, is no longer a part of Lucknow Super Giants. He has come to his old team Delhi Capitals from Lucknow. Delhi’s Kuldeep Yadav will now be seen in the jersey of Lucknow Super Giants. The governing body of IPL officially confirmed this trade deal on Tuesday.

Delhi Capitals has included Rishabh Pant in its team for Rs 15 crore. That means Pant has returned to his old team at a loss of Rs 12 crore. Whereas Chinaman spinner Kuldeep Yadav has joined the Lucknow team at his current fee of Rs 13.5 crore.
A statement issued by the IPL said, “After the trade, Rishabh Pant will return to Delhi Capitals for a revised fee of Rs 15 crore. Kuldeep Yadav will join Lucknow Super Giants for his current fee of Rs 13.50 crore.”
Both Rishabh Pant and Kuldeep Yadav have played together for Delhi Capitals till IPL 2024. Pant was associated with LSG for IPL 2025 and 2026, but Kuldeep remained a part of DC only. Pant was a part of DC from 2016 to 2024. During this period, he was also the captain of the team from 2021 to 2024.
