Ultra Slim Phone: Many companies including Apple and Samsung have launched thin phones, but people are not liking them. Samsung launched the Galaxy S25 Edge phone last year. This phone could not make its place in the hearts of the people and the company stopped its production shortly after its launch. This also happened with Apple’s iPhone Air. Now this is happening with the slim phones of another company Honor also. Despite the powerful features, the company’s ultra slim phone Honor Magic8 Pro Air is not finding buyers.
Ultra Slim Phone is not being sold
According to reports, people are not liking thin phones, due to which they are not being sold. Magic8 Pro Air is also failing in sales, due to which many other companies are also avoiding making thin phones. The lack of sales of Magic8 Pro Air is also a matter of concern because it has all those features which are usually not available in thin phones. Small battery in Samsung and Apple’s thin phones was being cited as the reason for lack of sales, but Honor has given a powerful battery of 5,500mAh and a large display of 6.3 inches in its thin phones. If seen from this perspective, the company had already resolved the concerns of small display and small battery. Despite this it is not getting customers.
Only 50 thousand units of Magic8 Pro Air were sold
Data from reliable tipster Digital Chat Station reveals that only 50,000 units of the Magic8 Pro Air have been sold. This shows that people are not liking this form factor. If we talk about Apple, the company has sold more than 2 crore units of iPhone 17 series, but among these there are only 7 lakh units of iPhone Air.
Samsung gives up, Apple’s efforts continue
Seeing the condition of S25 Edge, Samsung has said goodbye to this form factor. The company has said that the Edge line is being discontinued and there are no chances of its relaunching in the near future. On the other hand, Apple is making efforts despite low sales of iPhone Air and may launch iPhone Air 2 in February-March next year. It will be upgraded by removing some of the shortcomings of the first generation model.
