Australian all-rounder Glenn Maxwell

New Delhi: Australia’s explosive all-rounder Glenn Maxwell has been in great demand in T20 leagues around the world. Maxwell has played for different teams in the Indian Premier League in India for a long time. Barring one or two seasons, Maxwell almost failed in the IPL, but despite this, there was a lot of fight among the teams for him in the auction. However, before the IPL 2026 auction, Maxwell had announced that he would not enter the draft this time.

Actually, Maxwell knew that no team would bid on him. In such a situation, he decided to play in Pakistan Super League instead of IPL. In PSL, Maxwell was bought by the league’s new team Hyderabad Kingsman, but in an important match like the final, this Australian player cheated his team. In the title match against Peshawar Zalmi, Maxwell lost his wicket by playing a careless shot. He could not even open his account.

The entire Hyderabad team was reduced to 129 runs.

The team lost the first wicket on the score of just 16 runs, but after that Sam Ayub and Marnus Labuschagne together took charge of the innings and took the score beyond 50 runs.
