Vastu Tips: Which lamp should be lit round or long in the lamp of the house, know the correct rule

Vastu Tips: In the evening, when we light a lamp in the temple of our house, we often take a cotton wick and light it without thinking. But according to Vastu and religious scriptures, the selection of lamp wick is considered very important. Both round lights and long lights have different effects and importance.

According to belief, long lamp is related to wealth, prosperity and expansion. It is mainly used in the worship of Mother Lakshmi, Mother Saraswati and Kuldevi. It is said that lighting a long lamp increases wealth in the house and opens the way for the progress of the family.

If a person is facing financial problems in his life then it is considered auspicious to light a long lamp in front of Goddess Lakshmi. Apart from this, by lighting a long wick lamp facing south, the ancestors are pleased and receive their blessings.

On the other hand, Gol Batti, also known as Phool Batti, is considered a symbol of peace and stability. It is mainly used in the worship of Lord Shiva, Vishnu and Hanuman ji. This light concentrates the mind and increases positive energy in the house.

If there is tension, fights or mental unrest in the house, then lighting a round lamp is considered very beneficial. It helps in making the home environment calm and balanced. Many people also use it in Akhand Deep and daily Aarti so that the devotion remains constant.

While lighting the lamp, special attention should be paid to the direction. Lighting a lamp towards the north increases health and knowledge. Lighting a lamp towards the east increases lifespan and energy. Whereas lighting a lamp towards the west should be avoided as it is believed to increase mental stress.

It is also said in the scriptures that whether the wick is round or long, if it is lit with full devotion and cleanliness, it conveys your prayers directly to God. While lighting a lamp, keeping something intact at the bottom and not using a broken lamp is also considered auspicious.
