Salary of cheerleaders in IPL 2026?
According to media reports, in the 2026 season, cheerleaders are getting a salary between Rs 12 to 25 thousand. This salary is given for one match. If we take an average of Rs 20 thousand per match, then all the teams play 14-14 league matches in the season. In this sense, a cheerleader earns around Rs 2.80 lakh in a season.
Which team pays the most money?
According to media reports, the highest salary for cheerleaders is given by Kolkata Knight Riders. Whereas Sunrisers Hyderabad team gives the lowest salary.

Kolkot Knight Rider: ₹24,000 – ₹25,000
Mumbai Indians: ₹20,000
Royal Challengers Bangalore: ₹20,000
Chennai Super Kings: ₹15,000 – ₹17,000
Delhi Capitals: ₹12,000 – ₹15,000
Punjab Kings: ₹12,000 – ₹15,000
Sunrisers Hyderabad: ₹12,000 – ₹15,000
The teams of Lucknow Super Giants and Gujarat Titans, which are entering the IPL from 2022, reportedly pay a salary of Rs 15 to 20 thousand to their cheerleaders.
Let us tell you that cheerleaders have been a part of IPL since 2008 i.e. the initial season. These cheerleaders dance on the stage before the stands outside the boundary line. Apart from the spectators present on the field, the cheerleaders are shown live on TV.
