Marathi film ‘Deul Band 2’ made a lot of money at the box office. The film has crossed the Rs 80 crore mark. Superstar Shahrukh Khan also helped in this film.
Actually, Shahrukh’s Red Chillies was hired for color grading for the film. When the work started, its budget was Rs 12 lakhs, but by the time the shooting started, the budget had increased to Rs 42 lakhs. Film director Praveen Tarde had told that at that time Shahrukh Khan had waived his bill. As soon as Praveen Tarde made this disclosure, he got a mixed response. Some people also did trolling. Praneen Tarde shared a post on Instagram. He talked about the support given to Shahrukh Khan’s film. He said, ‘I was traveling across Maharashtra for some time. But no one noticed. But the moment I mentioned the Bollywood star, everyone started writing about it. Some people tried to stop the film, but they could not. So now we are trying indirectly to stop it. This film has come a long way without any big name. Because the effort behind it was honest. Thank you all.
He further said, ‘Whether it is the character of the film or Shahrukh Khan, it does not matter. If someone has helped you, you should openly accept it and praise him.
