Strong acting by Sai Pallavi and Junaid Khan, but weak story and lack of logic

Sai Pallavi and Junaid Khan’s film Ek Din has been released, but the film is not as engaging as was expected. The story revolves around an ordinary boy who underestimates himself and thinks that no girl will like him. During this time, he falls in love with a beautiful girl from his office, but that girl is already in a relationship with her married boss.

The twist in the story comes when during an office trip the boy’s wish is fulfilled and he gets the girl. However, after this the film starts looking completely illogical. At many places, incidents happen so quickly that no proper build-up is felt. The girl falling in love repeatedly over and over again seems unrealistic, which makes it difficult to connect with the story.

The biggest weakness of the film is its writing. The lack of depth in the script is clearly visible and even the emotional moments do not leave much impact. It seems that the story had potential, but it was not developed properly.

However, Sai Pallavi still shines with her performance and her presence on screen is quite impressive. She clearly deserves a better script. At the same time, Junaid Khan fits into his role and does a good job as per the character, but he too does not get the support of strong writing.

Overall, despite some good moments and performances, the film remains average and fails to leave a strong impact.
