Advance Booking: ‘Patriot’ won in advance booking, ‘Raja Shivaji’-‘Ek Din’ earned this much

Malayalam superstars Mohanlal and Mammootty will be seen together in ‘Patriot’. According to Sacnilk, the film has done pre-sales of Rs 3.5 crore in advance booking in Kerala alone. Globally the booking of the film has reached around 9 to 10 crores. There is strong demand for the film in the overseas market, especially in the Gulf countries. The film has done $200,000 in international pre-sales. According to the advance booking the film is doing, the film can create history by having the biggest opening in Malayalam cinema.

‘King Shivaji’
Riteish Deshmukh’s film ‘Raja Shivaji’ is one of the most awaited films. There are reports of a strong opening of the Marathi version of the film. Advance booking of Hindi version is going slower than Marathi version. According to Sacnilk, 93677 tickets of the film have been sold in Marathi. Whereas 9626 tickets have been sold in Hindi. The film has collected Rs 4.12 crore with block seat. This film has been directed by Ritesh Deshmukh. Stars like Vidya Balan, Sanjay Dutt, Genelia, Abhishek Bachchan will be seen in the film.

Talking about Junaid Khan and Sai Pallavi’s film ‘Ek Din’, this film is being released in Hindi and Tamil. Sai Pallavi is making her Bollywood debut with this film. Because of Sai Pallavi, the Tamil version is expected to get some footfall. However, there are not much expectations from the film in Hindi. According to Koimoi, there is no movement in pre-sales. The film can earn Rs 90 lakh to Rs 1.5 crore on the opening day. There are hopes that the film will benefit from positive word of mouth in the coming days.
