Vaibhav’s century went in vain
When Rajasthan Royals team came to bat first, Vaibhav Suryavanshi completed his century in just 36 balls. This was the third fastest century in the history of IPL. He already holds the record for scoring the fastest century (35 balls) by an Indian in IPL. On the basis of this century, Rajasthan team was able to reach the score of 228.
When Sunrisers Hyderabad team came to chase the target of 229 runs, Travis Head was out in the very first over. But Abhishek Sharma and Ishan Kishan changed the course of the match by making a partnership of 132 runs in just 55 balls. On the basis of this partnership, Hyderabad won.
Kishan scored 74 runs in 31 balls, while Abhishek scored 57 runs in 29 balls. The rest of the work was done by the 53-run partnership of Heinrich Klaasen and Nitish Kumar Reddy. Nitish scored 36 runs in 18 balls, while Klaasen contributed 29 runs. After this victory, Hyderabad has captured the third position in the points table.
