Actually, Mumtaz had married Gujarati Hindu businessman Mayur Madhvani in the year 1974 and stayed away from films and settled in London. Their marriage was interfaith, due to which it was much talked about at that time. But, neither the actress nor her family had any issue with this relationship. Mumtaz said- I had no choice

In a conversation with Vicky Lalwani, Mumtaz said, ‘I had no choice at that time. My mother, grandmother and aunty accepted this proposal. He knew the family and suggested me to leave acting. Mumtaz further says, ‘No one in our family ever paid attention to Hindu and Muslim. We never discriminated between religions. My sister has also married a Hindu. From Randhawa ji.

Mumtaz says about her marriage with a Gujarati Hindu businessman, ‘My marriage with him was destiny and I followed the advice of my family. I come from a conservative family – Iranians are like that. ‘

How was Mumtaz’s life after marriage?

Along with this, while talking about her life after marriage, Mumtaz said, ‘After marriage, I never needed to make any changes in my personal life. I do not want to boast about the wealth of the Madhvani family, but there were many cooks there. There, separate food was prepared for vegetarians and non-vegetarians. I was never pressured to give up non-veg. My husband is a vegetarian. But he never asked me to change my diet.

Mumtaz spoke on her relationship with Firoz Khan

We were very good friends and also worked together. In such a situation, there will not be any woman who does not consider him attractive. He was very beautiful. The actress believes that both of them were of Iranian origin, that is why they got connected with each other. However, he also confessed in this conversation that there was no love relationship between them.

It is noteworthy that Mumtaz’s daughter Natasha Madhvani is married to Firoz Khan’s son Fardeen Khan. Both of them got married in the year 2005. Mumtaz says about Firoz’s family that it is a very loving family and Firoz’s children are very good.
