Step-by-step way to set App Lock
- First of all, open WhatsApp Web in your browser (like Google Chrome) and login.
- Click on the three dots (Menu) visible on the top right side of the screen.
- Here you will see the option of App Lock, tap on it.
- Now turn on (Enable) App Lock.
- Set a password of your choice.
After confirming the password, you can also decide after how long the auto-lock should be activated like 1 minute or 8 hours.
How to remove App Lock
If you want to remove App Lock later, it’s also very easy:
- Click on your profile icon at the bottom left in WhatsApp Web.
- Go to Privacy section.
- Scroll down where you will find the option of App Lock.
- Disable it.
