Superstar Salman Khan is in the news these days for the film ‘Mathrubhoomi: May War Rest in Peace’. Earlier the name of this film was Battle of Galwan, which was changed to ‘Mathrubhoomi: May War Rest in Peace’. For this film, Salman Khan took rigorous training and underwent a shocking transformation.

According to a source related to the production, ‘Salman Khan has done an amazing physical transformation for this film. He trained at the heights of Ladakh, where he did heavy weight sessions as well as difficult endurance drills. During the 45-day schedule in Ladakh, Salman Khan adopted a workout routine based on calisthenics to maintain his physique. Because it was very difficult to carry the entire gym setup to such high altitude shooting locations.

He further said, ‘Apart from this, the surprising thing is that Salman is doing all this despite suffering from many injuries. To train with so much passion in such circumstances. Frankly, this is something that only Salman Khan can do.”

Let us tell you that the film has been directed by Apoorva Lakhia. The film ‘Mathrubhoomi: May War Rest in Peace’ has been produced under the banner of Salman Khan Films. Chitrangada Singh will be seen in the role opposite Salman Khan in the film.

The film was earlier scheduled to release on April 17. But then the film was postponed. The name of the film was also changed. There were also reports that some scenes of the film were also re-shot. There is no official confirmation yet regarding the release of the film. However, there are reports that the film may release on August 14.
