BSNL Recharge Plans: Telecom companies have found a new way to burden the pockets of their users. Now companies are not directly making their recharge plans expensive, rather the benefits available in them are being reduced. Its effect is that users have to pay more money for less benefits. A few days ago, Jio had reduced the validity of Rs 195 plan from 90 days to 30 days. Now government telecom company BSNL has also taken such a step and revised its two recharge plans simultaneously. BSNL Recharge Plans revised
Rs 107 plan- This affordable plan of BSNL has been revised once again in a span of a few months. Earlier, in this Rs 107 recharge plan, BSNL used to provide 200 minutes of calling, unlimited data and 22 days validity. Now by making changes in this, the validity has been reduced from 22 days to 20 days. Initially this plan was brought with a validity of 35 days. Now, after being revised, this plan has 20 days validity left.
Rs 197 plan- Like the Rs 107 plan, the validity of the Rs 197 plan has also been reduced. Earlier this plan had a validity of 42 days with 300 calling minutes, unlimited data and 100 SMS. Now by making changes in this, the validity has been reduced to 35 days. This means that the user will get one week less validity in the Rs 197 plan.
Jio has also revised the plan
BSNL is not the first company to revise recharge plans. Before the government company BSNL, the country’s largest telecom company Jio had also updated its plan. Jio’s Rs 195 data pack earlier had a validity of 90 days. After being revised, the validity of this plan has been reduced to 60 days and it now comes with a validity of only 30 days. There has been no reduction in other benefits including data available in the plan. Let us tell you that for quite some time now there have been reports that telecom companies may make recharge plans expensive due to increase in costs.
