New Delhi. Being the son of Sachin Tendulkar, who is called the 'God' of Indian cricket, is not an easy thing. While the world compares you with the greatest players in the game, your every move on the field is scrutinized closely. Lucknow Super Giants all-rounder Arjun Tendulkar recently spoke openly about his personal life, career struggles and social media trolling in a podcast. The most surprising thing about this interview is that despite being a professional cricketer, none of Arjun's close friends are from the world of cricket.

When Arjun Tendulkar was asked about his friends in Shubhankar Mishra's podcast, he answered very candidly. Arjun revealed that most of his friends do not play cricket nor do they have a deep understanding of the game. Arjun said, 'To be honest, I do not have any cricketer friend. Most of my friends are from outside the world of cricket. When we sit together, there is no discussion on cricket because he does not know much about it.

Arjun Tendulkar mentioned five dogs
This revelation is interesting because players generally spend more time with their teammates. Perhaps this is the reason why Arjun is able to keep himself away from pressure outside the field. When asked how he remains so calm, he mentioned his five dogs in Goa. Arjun told that spending time with her is the biggest stress-buster for him.

Arjun Tendulkar is not afraid of trolling
Being the son of Sachin Tendulkar, Arjun often has to face taunts of nepotism and social media trolling. Critics believe that he gets opportunities only because of his name. However, Arjun seemed unaffected by these things. When asked if he was afraid of criticism or trolling on social media, he said with confidence, 'No, I am not afraid of any criticism.' This calm attitude of Arjun shows that he has learned to ignore the outside noise and his entire focus is only on improving his game.

Journey from Mumbai Indians to Lucknow Super Giants
A big change has come for Arjun Tendulkar before the IPL 2026 season. Despite staying in Mumbai Indians for many years, he could not get consistent opportunities in the playing eleven. In the presence of stalwarts like Jasprit Bumrah and Trent Boult, Arjun was mostly seen on the bench. He is a part of Lucknow Super Giants (LSG). Although there is an army of fast bowlers like Mohammed Shami, Mayank Yadav, Mohsin Khan and Enrique Norcia, but Arjun's specialty is his all-round ability. LSG can use him in the lower middle order as a 'hard-hitting' batsman and left-arm fast bowler.

Yuvraj Singh is considered as his ideal
An interesting moment came during the interview when Arjun was asked about his ideal. Apart from his father Sachin, Arjun took the name of former legendary all-rounder Yuvraj Singh. When he was jokingly asked whether he liked Yuvi's bowling, Arjun smiled and said, 'He was a spinner and I am a fast bowler. I have always liked him for his batting and his ability to win matches.
