IPL 2026 JioHotstar Free Subscription: With the start of IPL 2026, the atmosphere of cricket across the country has become heated again. As soon as evening comes, people get ready to watch the match. This season started with a spectacular match at the M Chinnaswamy Stadium, where Royal Challengers Bangalore made a strong start by defeating Sunrisers Hyderabad. Now that the matches are going to last for two months, fans are looking for ways in which they can watch every match without spending much. Live streaming is officially available on JioHotstar but not everyone wants to take an expensive subscription directly. In such a situation, telecom companies are providing this facility with some cheap recharge plans.
Airtel's affordable plans
Airtel has introduced some budget-friendly options for users. The plan of around Rs 100 provides 6GB data and access to JioHotstar for a month. This is suitable for those who already have an active plan. Apart from this, the Rs 195 plan gives slightly more value. It also includes 12GB data, one month JioHotstar subscription and access to Xstream Play. If you watch content other than cricket then this can prove to be a better option.
Jio's cheap data packs
Reliance Jio is also not behind. The data add-on plan of around Rs 100 offers 5GB data and 30 days of JioHotstar access. This is the cheapest way to start but for this also a base plan is necessary.
If you want to enjoy the entire tournament then the Rs 195 plan is more beneficial. It provides streaming facility for about 90 days with 15GB data which covers the entire IPL season.
Cheapest entry option for Vi users
Vodafone Idea i.e. Vi has also introduced some interesting plans. The Rs 44 plan is the cheapest entry point in which 1GB data is available for a day but JioHotstar access is available for a full month.
Apart from this, more data and longer validity is available in plans of Rs 101, 151 and 169. Especially the Rs 169 plan can be considered a balanced option with 8GB data and about three months of streaming.
