IPL 2026 KKR vs DC Full Highlights: In the last i.e. 70th league match of IPL 2026, Delhi Capitals defeated Kolkata Knight Riders by 40 runs. Batting first, Delhi had put 203 runs on the board for 5 wickets in 20 overs. While chasing, Kolkata was all out for 163 runs in 18.4 overs. During this period, Lungi Angidi and Kuldeep Yadav took maximum 3-3 wickets for Delhi. Let us tell you that this match had no significance from the playoff point of view. Both the teams had been eliminated earlier. Now the playoff matches will start from May 26.
In the match, KKR won the toss and decided to bowl. This decision of the team did not prove to be right at all. For Delhi, who batted first, KL Rahul played the biggest innings and scored 60 runs in 30 balls with the help of 5 fours and 4 sixes.
Apart from Rahul, for Delhi, Abhishek Porel scored 22 runs, Sahir Parakh scored 24 runs, captain Akshar Patel scored 39 runs, David Miller scored 28 runs and Ashutosh Sharma scored 18 runs. Tristan Stubbs remained at the crease without opening the account. This was the first time for Delhi that the team had posted a total of more than 200 on the board without any partnership of 50 runs.
KKR flop in chase
While chasing, captain Ajinkya Rahane played the biggest innings for Kolkata and scored 63 runs in 39 balls with the help of 4 fours and 4 sixes. Apart from this, all the batsmen looked almost flop. Finn Allen scored 20 runs, Manish Pandey scored 25 runs, Cameron Green scored 02 runs, Tajaswi Dahiya scored 01 runs, Anukul Roy scored 09 runs, Varun Chakraborty scored 05 runs and Saurabh Dubey scored 04* runs. Rinku Singh and Kartik Tyagi returned to the pavilion without opening their account.
These four teams qualified for the playoffs
Royal Challengers Bangalore, Gujarat Titans, Sunrisers Hyderabad and Rajasthan Royals qualified for the playoffs. RCB became the first team to make it to the top-4. Rajasthan became the fourth team to qualify.
